Classics for a Cause

6PM Start Time

Join the Ipswich City String Quartet and guest performers for an evening of recognition and reflection as we acknowledge the insidious presence of domestic violence in our community.

Along with informative talks by our guest speakers, be entertained by the wonderful sounds of the quartet with a program including music by accomplished female Australian composer and our newest ensemble member, Alys Rayner.

The event is free with supplied grazing boards. The venue is fully licenced with a wider selection of food available.

These performances are being presented as fundraising events for the Allison Baden-Clay Foundation and we thank the wonderful organisations and businesses that have contributed to making the evening successful.

Allison Baden-Clay Foundation

The Allison Baden-Clay Foundation aims to educate the community about family and domestic violence and empower them to aid in prevention.

Each year throughout the month of July, The Allison Baden-Clay Foundation launches their Strive To Be Kind campaign which aims to raise awareness about family and domestic violence and encourage people to practice kindness in their daily lives.

Funds raised from activities hosted by The Allison Baden-Clay Foundation go towards the development of programs that educate the community and provide them with the tools to help prevent family and domestic violence.
